Every industry buys CNC machining differently. An aerospace quality manager wants traceability and first article reports; a medical device engineer wants burr-free parts and documentation that survives an audit; an automotive program manager wants prototype speed now and repeatable unit cost later. The industry machining pages below describe how IsoCNC works inside each of those buying patterns — the parts we typically machine, the materials, the documentation, and the honest limits of what we take on.
The common thread across all three: we machine to your drawing, quote your documentation requirements into the job up front, and inspect with CMM-verified reports your quality team can file. If your program needs something we do not do — a registered quality system your regulation mandates, volumes that belong in casting or stamping — we say so at RFQ rather than learning it together at the first article.
Aerospace
Aerospace CNC machining at IsoCNC covers structural brackets, fittings, housings, and UAV structures in 7075/7050 aluminum, Ti-6Al-4V, Inconel 718, and precipitation-hardening stainless. Thin-wall and compound-angle work routes to 5-axis machining centers so critical datums finish in one setup. Every lot ships with material certs, FAI to AS9102-style formats or your own template, and CMM reports tied to your drawing. We are not AS9100 registered, and the aerospace page says so plainly — along with exactly what documentation we do deliver.
Medical
Medical CNC machining focuses on device housings, surgical instrument components, fluidic manifolds, and implant-adjacent hardware in 316L stainless, Ti-6Al-4V ELI, and PEEK. Medical parts fail on burrs, contamination, and revision mismatches more often than on dimensions, so deburr operations, cleaning and packing, and drawing-revision confirmation are built into the router, not left to chance. We do not hold ISO 13485 registration; what we provide is machining to your specification with material certs, FAI, and serialized traceability where your QMS requires it.
Automotive
Automotive CNC machining spans prototype brackets for development mules, EV components like cooling plates and busbar hardware, jigs and checking fixtures, and low-to-mid volume production for motorsport and niche vehicle programs. Prototypes turn from 7 days with DFM feedback on the first quote; released parts run with first article inspection and in-process checks so every lot matches the first. When volumes outgrow machining, we tell you.
Other Industries
